Deer Creek Guided Canoe Trip-8/6/2026

Join us for a guided hike, but on the water in a canoe. This program is designed to acquaint participants with the natural surroundings of Deer Creek. Exploration of the environment is enhanced by the use of canoes to travel along the creek. The emphasis, during these relaxed trips, is on the environmental education and interpretation, provided by an interpreter who accompanies the group.

Canoe Trip Guidelines

  •  No children under 6
  • Each child ages 6-7, 1:1 adult to child ratio
  • 8-12 minimum 1 adult required in boat
  • 13-17 No adult required in boat, but a responsible adult must be present in another boat
  • Release forms need to be signed at the trip. Children not accompanied by a parent or guardian need to bring a signed release form
